Sphokazi Ngobese is a Projects Manager at CyberM8 and a passionate advocate for digital inclusion, policy influence, and youth empowerment in the tech ecosystem. At CyberM8, she leads impactful programmes such as HackSecure, NextGen Bootcamp, and Tshireletso Online Child Safety, driving cybersecurity awareness, skills development, and advocacy to benefit communities, SMMEs, and young people across South Africa.
Her commitment extends into the policy and governance space. She was part of the Y20 Working Group under the thematic area Inclusive Social Development: Fighting Inequality, contributing to youth-driven global policy recommendations. She was also honoured to take part in the Youth Day Roundtable Discussion at the Pan-African Parliament under the theme “Educating, Empowering, and Elevating African Youth for Sustainable Socio-Political Change”, amplifying the role of young voices in shaping Africa’s future.
Sphokazi further contributes to advancing internet governance and digital rights as a member of the Internet Society South Africa Chapter Executive Committee, where she champions equitable access and inclusive participation in the digital age.
